All of our osteopaths have trained in NZ, Australia or the UK. All have had 4-5 years of tertiary level training and also attend regular CPD courses. We are ACC accredited and hold Annual Practising Certificates with the Osteopathic Council NZ. Not all osteopaths work in the same way…some are more oriented toward structural treatment of the body, using stronger techniques including resisted muscle movements, strong stretching and joint manipulations, while some work with more subtle movements and pressures, gently releasing tension from tissues. Our profiles below may help you decide which practitioner would best suit you but if you’re unsure, feel free to call our reception team for advice.
