Osteopath
BAppSc (Human Biology), MOst
People often come to see me when they feel stiff or sore, are dealing with an injury, or want to move more freely and build strength. I take a structural approach, using hands-on osteopathic treatment alongside movement advice and strengthening exercises that fit into everyday life. My master’s research focused on communication between patients and practitioners. In practice, that means explaining what my assessment suggests, why I recommend a particular approach and what people can do between appointments. I tailor care to each person’s goals and circumstances, aiming to help with the immediate problem while building confidence in what they can do for themselves.
When another clinician’s expertise could complement care, I explain why and discuss the options.
Resistance training has been part of my life since my teens. Outside the clinic, I also enjoy music, creative projects and exploring new places and cultures. I am happiest in or near the water, especially when swimming or surfing.
I’m available at Wairakei Osteopathy from Tuesday to Friday from the 23rd of August, with early and late appointments available. Monday and Saturday bookings will follow.
