Move, Feel & Live Better

From everyday niggles to the issues keeping you up at night

Osteopathy Services Across Christchurch

Our Christchurch-based osteopathic team is made up of highly skilled practitioners and friendly administrators, all dedicated to improving the lives of our patients.

Our focus is twofold – we provide immediate relief from pain and discomfort while simultaneously addressing the underlying cause of that pain. We diagnose areas of weakness, correct imbalances and enhance the way our patients’ bodies function, constantly searching for the long-term solution rather than the short-term fix. The end result? Healthier, happier people leading fuller, more active lives.

Our Services

Osteopaths are primary healthcare providers who collaborate with other registered professionals—such as GPs, midwives, specialists, and radiologists—to deliver comprehensive patient care. Regulated under the same laws as doctors and nurses, we follow the Osteopathic Council of NZ (Kaunihera Haumanu Tuahiwi o Aotearoa) Code of Conduct to ensure high standards of practice. We are ACC providers, so we can lodge new injury claims and treat existing ones—no GP referral is needed.

Who is osteopathy for?

You can come with any acute or chronic condition, whether it’s an injury, postural issues or general stiffness and loss of function that has just crept up on you. You might also come for pain associated with pregnancy or childhood issues, or for rehabilitation after surgery.

What does an Osteopath do?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that addresses health issues by massaging, stretching and manipulating muscles and joints. Osteopaths go further than the site of an injury, addressing the root cause of pain and discomfort in a bid to prevent ongoing issues.
